Maestro Code

Maestro Code is the fixed-pitch complement to the Maestro font family, hitting all the same notes as its proportional counterpart.

Font Details

Maestro Code extends the Maestro family with a set of monospaced alternative fonts. Capturing the same essential spirit, Maestro Code adds to the family’s reportoire.

By stripping away fussier shapes but retaining classic proportions, the fonts fuse a straightforward and amenable personality with a timeless sense of style. Like Maestro, Maestro Code is constructed with intermediate masters, keeping stroke contrast low in the middle weights. This allows the fonts to remain sturdy at display sizes, with more even stroke intersections and cross-bars at junctures where the bolder weights lack room.

Maestro Code keeps the same x-height as the proportional fonts, allowing the two sets of font to gracefully sit side by side. The caps-height in the uppercase character set is reduced, optically accounting for the constrained width.
